Tarantul IIIRetaining the main armament and basic hull form of the 1241.1M, the third version received nonetheless important upgrades. Apart from a modest but useful internal redesign, the Tarantul-III had a new motorisation, consisting of a CODAG(COmbined Diesel And Gas) system. Two PR-76 gas turbines (rated at 12000 hp each) and two M504 (rated at 5000 hp each) diesel engines were used, being a big improvement over the earlier COGOG system both in terms of serviceability (the two cruise diesels being almost something of a Soviet 'classic'), fuel efficiency and, most importantly, service life expectancy compared to the older NK-12M's.

Apart from these modifications, Soviet naval engineers still considered (correctly, as would turn out in the '90 Gulf War) the design to be insufficiently protected against air attack. The Tarantul-III, built from 1987 on, received an improved ECM (Electronic countermeasures) suite, consisting of 2 'Half Hat' and 2 'Foot Ball' jamming systems, coupled to 4 improved PK-10 decoy launchers. At least 24 of these ships were built for the Soviet Navy before production ended in 1992.[Wikipedia]

The 2S9 NONA (Новейшее Орудие Наземной Артилерии - Newest Ordnance of Ground Artillery) is a self-propelled 120 mm mortar designed by the Soviet Union and entering service in 1981. The 120 mm mortar is referred to as the Nona, with the 2S9 being the Nona-S, the BTR-80 based the Nona-SVK, the towed 2B16 anti-tank gun the Nona-K. The chassis is known as the S-120 and is based on the aluminum hull of the BTR-D airborne multi-purpose tracked armoured personnel carrier. The G6 self-propelled howitzer is a South African artillery piece, developed around the ordnance of the G5 howitzer. It is one of the most powerful self-propelled guns on a wheeled chassis.
In addition to the logistical mobility afforded by a wheeled chassis, the G6 is protected against counter battery fire and is able to defend itself in an unsecured area.
The chassis is mine-protected. The G6 is produced in South Africa by the Land Systems division of Denel. It entered production in 1987.[wikipedia]

Su-15 was roll-out in Novosibirsk at 25^th October 1948 and flight for the first time on January 1949. It is an interceptor plane with 2 turbojets RD-45F having thrust 2.270 kg/machine. It has tandem at the rear and in the middle of fuselage, also doubles canon calibre 37mm. In its 39^th flight at 3^rd June 1949, Su-15 faced an uncontrollable flutter, however the pilot could eject safely. Unfortunately, the 2^nd prototype hasn’t been finished yet, the process was stopped due to the accident. Now, let’s create the unfinished SU-15 in a model plane!!
